Belgravia Law was delighted to participate in Singapore Convention Week 2025, held from 25 to 29 August. It was truly a landmark event that has further reinforced Singapore’s standing as a global hub for arbitration and dispute resolution.
This year’s programme coincided with the celebration of Singapore’s 60th anniversary, adding to the sense of occasion and energy surrounding the week.
A highlight of our visit was attending the SIAC Symposium 2025, hosted by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) on Tuesday, 26 August at the Shangri-La Singapore. As SIAC’s flagship annual conference, the Symposium brought together leading practitioners, arbitrators, in-house counsel, academics and industry stakeholders to discuss emerging trends, institutional developments and the future of international arbitration in Asia and beyond. The discussions once again demonstrated SIAC’s role at the forefront of shaping global arbitral practice.
We were greatly pleased to join the “Breaking with Convention” Networking Event, organised by the Singapore Ministry of Law at The Lawn at CHIJMES, one of Singapore’s most iconic heritage landmarks. Set against neo-Gothic architecture and lush greenery, the evening provided a charming and memorable setting for conversations and connections under the stars.
Belgravia Law was also proud to organise and sponsor the Eurasian Legal Professionals’ Forum Drinks Reception at the Polo Bar, Maxwell Reserve - a prestigious venue that provided an excellent backdrop for connecting with colleagues and friends from across the arbitration and business communities.
The week concluded with the Walk & Talk event, which brought together participants for informal conversations and fresh perspectives in a relaxed setting.
Belgravia Law extends its warm thanks to the Ministry of Law, Singapore, Maxwell Chambers and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre for their excellent organisation and hospitality.
It was a privilege to connect with clients, colleagues and peers in Singapore and to contribute to an event that fosters thought leadership, collaboration and community in international arbitration.
